Dachau – the concentration camp of pain and death.

Titus Brandsma. He fought the Nazi ideology even before the invasion of the Netherlands. In January 1942 he delivered a letter from the Dutch Bishops to Catholic newspapers in which they were ordered not to print Nazi documents. He was arrested at the Boxmeer monastery, held prisoner in Scheveningen, KZ Amersfoort, Cleves and send to Dachau, arriving on 19 June. He died on 26 July 1942, from a lethal injection administered by a SS doctor, as part of their program of medical experimentation.
