Nazi captured in US Aleksandras Lileikis, Former chief of the Lithuanian Security Police in the Vilna Ghetto, where thousands of Jews were killed during WWII. After the war, he moved to the US & became a citizen, settling in Massachusetts. As a result of an investigation by the Dept of Justice’s OSI, he was stripped of citizenship. Rather than face deportation, Lileikis left the country. He was put on trial in Lithuania, but he died in 2000 while it was still occurring.
