Paul Leo Seidel, of Munich, former inmate of the Auschwitz camp, displays a model of the so-called ‘Bocer Swing’ A torture method devised by Wilhlem Bocer, one of the defendants at the Frankfurt trial. According to testimony of Auschwitz survivors, the prisoner’s hands were tied in back and their legs put through this loop. They were then made to ‘wing’ by Bocer using truncheon or whip.
