A young Private first class at jump school Ft. Campbell, Ky., 1961. He served in the US Army Airborne Rangers. Three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was shot through both legs..He has more medals than I have space to write about..After 20yrs. of service to our country he retired a SGM. The highest rank for an enlisted man other than SGM of the Army. After his retirement a tractor accident on his farm left him paralized in a wheelchair.
