The Norwegian royal crown was made by the Swedish goldsmith Olof Wihlborg. She was ordered and paid for by King Karl Johan at his coronation in 1818. Four kings are crowned with this crown, and she has been a part of the ceremony at two times. When a monarch’s death, the crown is placed on the coffin.
