Princess Marina of Kent, now a widow, with her youngest child, Prince Michael, named after Grand Duke Michael of Russia, youngest brother of Czar Nicholas II. Marina’s mother was a Russian grand duchess and Prince Michael developed a keen interest in his Russian heritage. He even contributed blood samples to help positively identify the remains of the last czar and his family.
