Otto Frank begins to look for a publisher. It is not easy. He only succeeds when a famous professor writes a moving article about the diary in the Dutch newspaper ‘Het Parool’. Two years after the war, Anne’s diary is published as a real book with the title ‘The Secret Annexe’. On that day, Otto Frank simply writes in his own diary: ‘Book’.
