St. Publius Church, Floriana, Malta, 28th April 1942: at 7.50 a.m. the church was hit by several bombs dropped from the Axis bombers. The dome and roof collapsed onto the crypt which was used as a public shelter, and under the weight of the fallen masonry thirteen people lost their lives. Victor Sierra
