December 1964: Folk singer Burl Ives poses with Sam The Snowman and Rudolph from “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” a Christmas television special produced in stop motion animation by Rankin/Bass which ran on NBC from 1964-1972 and CBS from 1972-Present Day.
