In 1918, while US troops were fighting for democracy in WWI, the citizens at home showed their support. Here, during a 4th of July parade, we see cars of nurses parading on Willamette Street between 7th and 8th Avenues [Eugene, Oregon]. Each car has a sign in the front window. The only one that is legible says Meadow View.
