Russian Volunteers (POA). Recruited by the Germans from Russian POWs, they fought mostly against the western allies, except at the very end, when they were also sent against the Soviets. Almost all captured by the Allies were turned over to the Russians after the war. They were quickly liquidated. Their official leader was former Soviet General Vlasov.
