Photograph of (mostly female) suffrage supporters demonstrating outside the International Amphitheater in Chicago, where President Woodrow Wilson is delivering a speech on October 20, 1916. The supporters were with the National Women’s Party and are seen with mulitple signs proclaiming their displeasure with Wilson’s stance on female suffrage. Some of the signs read “Wilson Against Women” and “President Wilson how long do you advise us to wait?”
