German patrol, riding in an APC, in the outskirts of a German town near the end of the war. These look like regular army troops, not militia or reserve soldiers whose appearance was not always very “battle worthy.” In the end though, everybody who could be inducted was given a rifle and was sent in the direction of the Russians.
