Red Cross Air Evac Base At an air evacuation base somewhere in Germany, American Red Cross girls Marjorie McFadden, Spring Lake, MI, and Louise Perry, Lindsborg, KS, prepare and serve their share of the 8,000,000 doughnuts and 2,800,000 cups of coffee handed out each month by American Red Cross clubmobile workers overseas. These two girls have served food to as many as 800 wounded in a single day at the field hospital located on the base.
