Celia Hunter learned how to fly and graduated from a Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) training class during WW2, subsequently ferrying aircraft from factories to military bases. Here, Celia Hunter can be seen in the cockpit of a fighter, date unknown. After the war she became a prominent conservationist in Alaska. She passed away in 2001, age 82.
